π³ Our trip to ubud π³
Hello everyone! Today we want to share with you our first time in the paradisiac landscape of Ubud.
We stayed 3 days and we discovered many things that I can't wait to tell you π
First day :
We went to visit the monkey forest. This forest located in Ubud's center is a home for monkeys but also a sanctuary for the residents. Just to know, the entrance is 80 000 idr. In the forest, you can walk around wherever you want. This forest is full of baby monkeys up to the oldest ones. You can discover a timeless place with its flamboyant and tropical vegetation π΄. Below, a river flows along the forest, you will have the opportunity to take your best pictures in nature or even with monkeys if you are lucky π.Be careful because our friends the monkeys can be aggressive. Don't look them in the eye and store your things well as I explained in a previous article. But don't worry, guards are present to watch over you and the monkeys. π
Second day :
We went to see the famous rice terrace of Tegallalang. A place full of beauty and culture, a breathtaking view, like a postcard! π We loved to walk in the middle of the rice terrace and meet the locals. This is definitely the place not to be missed if you come to Ubud! You will be able to observe the beautiful colors that the landscape offers while soaking up the Balinese culture. πΎ
Remember to bring a bottle of water, a hat and sunscreen because the sun is very strong and you can quickly become dehydrated.
After this magnificent discovery, we were hungry and went to eat in a coffee plantation. There are a lot of them over there. The locals will explain the process of coffee creation and the secret of the most expensive coffee in the world! Not to be missed! π We were able to taste a dozen of coffee and tea. Then, we swung in the middle of the jungle on this famous "swing", incredible. π΄
Third day :
For our last day, we got wet! We left early enough in the morning to go rafting! π£To get to the river we had to go down a lot of steps in the middle of the jungle, it was so picturesque. After this little walk, we arrived at the edge of the river and the rafting trip started. Lush vegetation, breathtaking waterfalls and thrills were all around us.π An activity that I highly recommend, very fun to do with family or friends.π
