Uluwatu Temples
Uluwatu Temple : the Uluwatu Temple is perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level. Also known as Pura Luhur, it’s one of the main temples in Uluwatu and it’s definitely a place to see.
Location: at only 10minutes in Scooter from Canang Sari Villas (4km).

Price: 1,000 IDR for the parking - 50,000 IDR to enter in the Temple - 100,000 to enjoy the Uluwatu Temple Kecak dance show (entrance not included)
Rules: to enter in the temple, you have to cover your knees (if it’s not the case, they will give you a a sarong or a sash). Things to know : if you are menstruating, you won’t be able to enter.
The Temple: Most travelers enjoy the view of this temple from two different points, from both northern and southern part of the area. The temple is pretty huge and you also have an amazing walk in the forest and on the cliffs. You’ll definitely enjoy the incredible view, especially for the sunset.
The Monkeys: in this temple, the monkeys are everywhere so be extremely careful with what you wear (avoid/protect your glasses, your hat/cap and hold your phone tight)
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park: Mandala Garuda Wisnu Kencana, or Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), is a cultural park devoted to the Hindu God Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who became his companion.
Location : at 15 minutes in scooter from Canang Sari Villas (7,8km).

Price: 125,000 IDR for adults and 100,000 IDR for children. This price include the access to the all park, the shuttle, a drink at the end of the visit.
The Park : enjoy the breathtaking statues (the biggest one, the Garuda Wisnu Kencana, is even taller than the Statue Of Liberty in New York City and you can see it even in Canggu and Seminyak). Traditional Dance Shows take place all day in the different areas of the park (amphitheaters, open-air …) and you can even find concerts (festivals) over there.
